At a Glance

The EMY Web App was designed as a full-stack portfolio and content management platform to showcase Enes Malik Yüksek’s expertise as an SAP/ABAP consultant and developer in the digital space. The project consists of a public personal website, a blog, a portfolio showcase, a communication workflow, an admin dashboard, and an Express.js-based API. The goal was to present the personal brand through a professional showcase while enabling the management of blog posts, work experience, client testimonials, and incoming messages from a single dashboard.

The Challenge

The system was not merely intended to meet the need for a static portfolio site. Blog content, work experience, clients associated with those experiences, messages from the contact form, admin users, and role-based authorization were all integral parts of the same structure. Therefore, the solution needed to provide a modern and dynamic user experience while also allowing content to be securely managed through a sustainable and easy-to-use admin panel.

What Was Done

The application was built from three main components: a public React/Vite website, a separate React/Vite admin panel, and an Express.js + MongoDB API. On the website side, the homepage, about page, experiences, client lists, blog list/detail pages, and a reCAPTCHA-enabled contact form were developed. For the blog, features such as slug generation, category structure, pagination, recent posts, related posts, and secure HTML rendering were implemented. The admin panel combines JWT-based login, bcrypt encryption, permissions for admin/blog/experiences/email, dashboard statistics, blog CRUD, experience CRUD, client CRUD, read receipts, and admin user management. On the API side, basic production security was supported through CORS, Helmet, compression, MongoDB connection checks, and a health check endpoint.

Result

The result is a comprehensive platform that combines a personal portfolio site with a content management system into a single structure. Enes Malik Yüksek can manage his blog posts, work experience, customer/reference records linked to his experience, messages received via the contact form, and admin users all from a single panel. The project provides a scalable personal brand infrastructure that goes beyond the limitations of a static portfolio, offering updatable content, a secure admin panel, role-based access, and centralized data management.
