My Personal Portfolio Website
A Platform Where You Can Follow My Work and Blogs!
At a Glance
AEK Portfolio was designed as a full-stack platform that brings together personal branding, project showcase, blog, and content management under a single digital framework. The project consists of a public portfolio website, an admin panel, an Express.js-based API, a Prisma/PostgreSQL database, and next-generation Next.js interfaces. The goal was to present Ahmet Emin Kaya’s identity as a developer and designer through a powerful web experience while enabling centralized management of projects, blog posts, work experience, references, partners, and contact information.
The Challenge
The system was not merely intended to serve as a static personal website. Projects, project categories, detail pages, blog content, blog comments, client reviews, partner logos, work history, and contact requests were all part of the same content flow. Therefore, the solution needed to deliver a visually premium and interactive portfolio experience while also allowing content to be managed securely through an admin panel without requiring code modifications.
What Was Done
The application was developed with a multi-layered architecture: a Vite-based public client and admin panel, an Express.js API, Prisma ORM, and a PostgreSQL database work together. On the public side, the homepage, about, services, projects, project details, blog, blog details, and contact pages were built using dynamic structures powered by the API. The admin panel utilizes JWT-based authentication, a protected route structure, and token-controlled CRUD workflows. On the management side, modules for experience, partners, projects, categories, testimonials, blog, blog comments, and contact messages were developed. In the new Next.js version, TypeScript, App Router, SEO metadata, next/font, Three.js/React Three Fiber particle scenes, custom cursors, filtering, search, pagination, and responsive interface experience were enhanced. Additionally, a TR/EN multilingual Next.js prototype was designed to support localization and a static content architecture.
Result
The result is a comprehensive portfolio platform for Ahmet Emin Kaya that functions as both a digital showcase and a content operations center. Projects, blog posts, work experience, partners, client testimonials, blog comments, and contact messages can all be managed from a single system. The platform provides a scalable structure that reduces the need for manual updates, presents the personal brand more professionally, supports SEO and social sharing infrastructure, is enriched with visual interactions, and can be expanded with new content modules in the future.
